Hello guys!
I need to configure names in Spanish on phones display that contain characters like ñ. Does the locale for Spanish (in my case, cm-locale-es_CO-8.6.2.1000-1.cop.sgn) will allow Spanish special characters to be configured on phone display?
Also, the client wants to keep the call control prompts in English, like ""Wait while I transfer your call". If Spanish locale is installed on CUCM, does the call control prompts will be changed to Spanish?
Thanks for your support!

For the same reason I told you, Call Manager 5.X,6.X..8X (linux version), do not support special character.

Yes, review the README to see all that it includes.
And CUCM has no such prompt, that's CUC or Unity. Again, review the README as it contains everything that will be installed in spanish.

Hi Neptali,
First, it's not posible to use Latin characters like ñ on the phone display not matter what locale you have installed, CUCM not support this characters.
Second: You will need to install the Spanish Locale. This is done via OS Admin>Software Upgrades.
You can use this documentation for the installation:

Thanks for the reply. In my case, the client has a CallManager version 4 and names in the line text label and Display (Internal caller id) appear with special characters like ñ and accents li à , etc. The problem is when a call is received from that directory number from the old CallManager version 4 to the new CUCM version 8.6, the caller name gets truncated.
What could be causing this issue?
