CUCM CDR in CSV format

Syed

Dear All,

As a routine task that I shall have to collect CDR for a particular number (i.e 29000 in my case), and I can export the daily report through spend report option, but it is a txt file that I am receiving, so I tying use EXCEL to develop the file and capture necessary details, but the data is scattered, I am finding it difficult to manually look at each call report. May I except an easiest way to achieve this task?

Also my CUCM is located in Saudi Arabia though I select local time zone that is Asia/Riyadh it is still generating reports in UTC/GMT. How can I set it to local?

Please find the attachment for images.

Thanks in advance

Hi Syed,

Here are tinks for good discussion about CDR and Time conversion which were discussed earlier in community.

Hi Syed,

CDRs will always be generated with UTC time, and there is no way to have it changed.

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/service/8_5_1/cdrdef/cdradmin/cdrcallinfo.html#wp1051201

"Timestamps within a CDR appear in Universal Coordinated Time (UTC). This value remains independent of daylight saving time changes"

In CAR you can specify timezone for search in CDRs, as you are doing but this will not change CDR timezone from UTC.

There is also a  lot of 3rd party CDR analizer that can help with analyzing your records like splunk, solarwinds,  phoneex any many more (but they are not for free but for Solarwinds and Splunk you can get 30 days trial)

Thanks Sudheer.

The links talk in detail about the CDR & CMR and informative to me, but it does not contain time zone alteration.

Any help on this?
