Hallo at all and best reguards from Germany
A UC Cluster has difference OS Admin Usernames.
I want upgrade this UC System from 12.5 to Version 15 with PCD.
I have now added an additionel OS Username with the same Name how the other has.
The new User has not all tghe privieleges as the default User.
The Question is:
Can i update the System with PCD with the new OS Admin User and the privileges or will the System hang up while the update
and
can TAC change the default OS Username ?
Thank you very much.
Michael

It can only be set at install time. A PCD migrate job can do it though since it uses new VMs.

Sort of related, but not an exact match. The name of the user can be changed with this command, utils reset_application_ui_administrator_name. PCD migration cannot do that.
During cluster discovery, it uses the OS admin credentials and configure the same for the migrated cluster nodes, and there’s no option to change this when defining the migration Cluster when Migrating with PCD, Not even with the 'Fresh Install with Data Export' option.
@Michael.Blum , as @Jonathan Schulenberg mentioned , this is set during installation. If you need a new one, you’d be better off installing a new node, though that would involve a lot of additional work.
Check with TAC to see if they have a root-level option to address this.
