We are running CallManger ver 7.0.1 with the default MOH settings using the SampleAudioSource (Cisco default) music. Now, we want to add a new MOH message - OnHoldMessage. Here is what we did:
1) From Music on Hold Audio File Management - Upload File (OnHoldMessage.wav)
2) From Music on Hold Audio Source - Add New
MOH Audio Stream Number - 2
MOH Audio Source File - OnHoldMessage
MOH Audio Source Name - OnHoldMessage
Play continuously (repeat) - checked
3) From a Phone Directory Number Information - change User Hold MOH Audio Source from SampleAudioSource to OnHoldMessage
We test this by calling this phone and putting the call on hold. No message or sound is heard. We change it back to SampleAudioSource and then call this phone and put the call on hold. Now we hear the sample cisco music.
What are we missing here? Any help would be appreciated.

Make sure you upload the MOH on all servers.

How many servers do you have? Have you uploaded the file to all the servers.
Did you record the file int he right format?
Prompt format is CCITT u-Law (64Kbps), 8 kHz, 8 bit mono

If you're not using G711 for all calls also make sure to enable the necessary codecs from the IPVMS service parameters.
