Failover is configured in the server, I'm not sure if the the Duplex was configured on the server. But when i gave the "show network eth0 detail" command, it displayed as Duplex: Auto Enabled. Now when i gave the " Show network failover" it displayed Duplex: Auto Disabled, for Bond 0.
1) I've got the other servers configured with Failover, but all of them have the "show network eth0" cmd to be displayed, but this server both of the commands enabled.
2) Now my confusion is, that if the Duplex is in Auto Enabled mode or Auto Disabled mode.
Below is the show network eth0 and show network failover.

This makes me wonder if the Failover config is also correct as well...
Guys Please let me know your comments.
Thank you in advance.

Hi Bijoy,
Earlier I also did not notice but it works fine with this config .
In failover state , it gives the status of Bond 0 as NO which corresponds to both ports eth0 and eth1 whether they are physically connected or not , UP or DOwn does not matter while show network eth0 detail gives the output of physical NIC port 0 /eth0 which is available on motherboard and is terminated to switch and is also UP.
show network eth1 detail does not work .

Thank you for the reply Aman.
What i would like to know from the above coniguration is if DUPLEX is in Auto enabled state or Auto disabled, if yes/no why is it that both the commands show different enabled/disabled for duplex..
THank you.

Hi Bijoy,
That is for sure , both NIC ports are in auto Enabled and supporting 1000Mbps.
May be when the bonding occurs , logically/virtually it shows Link Detetcted as NO and Auto Disabled in failover .
While in show network eth0 details , it shows Auto Enabled, link detected as YES, since it corresponds to that particular NIC /eth0.
was the command show network eth1 detail supported , it would have also as Link Detected YES and Auto enabled.
this is what I think.
