Hi
We are planning for Upgrade CUCM 7.0 to 8.0(3).
Present version 7.0 is running on MCS-7835.
Question is : Upgradaion from 7.x to 8.0(3) require any server virtualization? or is it same like upgradation from 6.x to 7.x ?
Below doucment on ugrade is not clear.

Server virtualization is referring to VMware (on Cisco UCS hardware only) which is newly supported in 8.0(2) and newer. It has nothing to do with the VOS upgrade model. You will follow the same upgrade and switch version procedure.

Upgrade from CUCM 7.0 to 8.0 does not require virtualization.
You can compare it to an upgrade from 6.x to 7.x.
