CUDAC 8.5 forced delivery ring no answer timer?!

Had a tac case opened for a couple of days with no resolution, so I decided to post here too. CUDAC 8.5 with forced delivery queue option set. The call rings the phone forever. Setting CFNA on the phone's extension or on the queue's route point does nothing. TAC engineer claims there should be a forced delivery overflow timer, but I don't see it. I tried setting overflow number, restart services, and that didn't help.

What do others do in order to overflow calls somewhere if the operator walks away and forgets to log out?

Hi Roman,

In the CUDAC Admin page, if you go to User Configuration > Queue Management, did you enter in the overflow number there, and the overflow wait-time?  I believe that should be how long a call will sit in the queue before it gets sent to the overflow number.

I don't see Overflow time. I have the latest Department Attendant Console. What version are you running?

That's interesting.  I've got the latest Enterprise installed, sounds like they've removed that option in the Department version.  I've attached a screenshot of what I see:

Thanks for that!

I hope Cisco does the right thing and adds it back into CUDAC/CUBAC at next update as nowhere in the documentation does it say that overflow timer is not available in CUDAC. Such an essential feature should be in the lowest level of AC. TAC engineer thought there's a default system timer that can't be changed, but that's not the case when we tested, the phone rings forever. He's working with DE's to find out what happened with this feature.

Just to update release notes say CUDAC and CUBAC don't have queue time overflow timer, so we need CUEAC. My fault for not looking with more attention to the release notes. Although I feel that such essential feature should be in every version of AC.

Thanks for updating with that info Roman.  That does seem like an essential feature that should be integrated in all of the versions of CUXAC.  Good to know for future implementations.

Interesting, as soon as I started this thread, I already got two calls from third parties who make alternatives to attendant consoles LOL Hey, I don't mind

Hi Roman,

Just thought I'd add this in here as an FYI, the Attendant Console 8.6 Business edition will be getting the wait time overflow feature.  Still no sign of it in the Department version though.

Interesting, good to know, hopefully CUDAC also gets it.

Thanks for your help!
