Hello Community,

I would like your feedback on the following:

We have replace an old PBX with a Cisco Communications Call Manager 8.6 with an MGCP voice-gateway connected with a PRI line.

When enabling the debug isdn q931 on the router we observe that on outgoing calls we notice the calling and called party but on the incoming calls we see only the called party:

I just want to confirm that there is no configuration missing and may only need to speak with the provider, however, i was informed that the incoming callerID was operational on the old system.

Telco is not sending calling number. Sometime they charge for that.

Hi,

Are you sure the service provider is sending you the callerID? Some service provider charge you a additional fee for this service, so maybe is disabled. The PRI T1 by default will allow callerID information to be received...

Yes it was working on the old PBX, which was not Cisco.
