DIrectory on CME

Hello everyone

Could you know which is the URL for the local directory on CME? I want that some phones in the CUCM cluster could access to this directory. I did not find anything on the cisco documentation.

http:// IP ADD>:80/localdirectory

You don't need URL in CME to enable local directory

But you can let the CME look for external directory : as to CUCM or LDAP directory

Best method is to add your CME users to the CUCM end users then let your CME look to CUCM directory

Hi All

thansk for the answers. What I want, is that some phones on CUCM's cluster could be take a look on the CME's Directory. My phones are registered on CUCM, I added a new service with this URL http://:80/localdirectory, however when i try to use the service I receive this error "404 page not found". I need help to fix this issue or maybe a new solution.

Hi,

Can you try adding this line to the CME config.

Ammend to your CME IP address first.

telephony-service

url directories http:// IP ADDRESS>/localdirectory

!

Can you also try

show ip http server all | incl ITS

This will confirm that the Directory service is running.

This has changed in recent CME. The url is now

http:///localdirectory/query
