Hello Antra
No I have not tried this, but according to the compatibility matrix, the 8945 is not supported on CME 8.5.
Here is the compatibility list for CME 8.5:
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucme/requirements/guide/cme85spc-htm.html
or see the full matrix:

cheers

The easiest ways to check if a device is supported on the CME:
1. Check compatibility matrix as indicated by slashdots
2. Create a voice register pool or ephone, and then do "type ?", this will give you all the models that are supported in that version of CME.
