E1 configuration - CAS channel error

Hi there,

I am configuring E1 controller and get the following error:

(config)#controller E1 0/2/0

(config-controller)# framing NO-CRC4

(config-controller)# line-termination 75-ohm

(config-controller)# ds0-group 0 timeslots 1-10 type r2-digital r2-compelled ani

(config-controller)# cas-custom 0

The channel must be a CAS channel

Would you know why I get that?

However I managed to configure E1 this way:

controller E1 0/2/0

framing NO-CRC4

line-termination 75-ohm

ds0-group 1 timeslots 1-15,17-20 type r2-digital r2-compelled ani

cas-custom 1

  category 2

  answer-signal group-b 1

  dnis-digits min 1 max 16

  ani-digits min 0 max 16

  ani-timeout 3

  timer interdigit incoming 1000

  groupa-callerid-end

  trunk-group ALL_T1E1

What is the difference between ds0-group 1, cas-custom 1 and ds0-group 0, cas-custom 0 ?

Sometime numbering starts from 0, in this case it seems it must start from 1.
