Hello everyone,
We have customized greeting messages such as "Welcome to xxx company, if you know the extension please dial it now, or press 0 for operator)."
How can I export this greeting file(.wav) ? Any chance I can "file get" from CLI mode?
And, I am not sure if this is related. By default, unity connection provide play/record the greeting via internal extension phones. Unfortunately, this is not available now since the Unity connection version is out of date and the web browser doesn't support it(error message attached) .
Please shed some lights.
Your response and input are highly appreciated.
Best regards,
Master001

First, the "InitMMAppletInstance failed to get instance" error is well-known. I assume you've done a search for that and tried all of the suggestions - usually relating to Java versions and enabling ActiveX....gaak!
But if you have already done all of the 'things' and you are stuck, you may have better luck with the Audiotext Manager for Connection available at https://ciscounitytools.com/
The Audiotext Manager for Connection allows you to edit not just call handlers but also end user accounts including both recording greetings and spoken names, and downloading them. And it beats the pants off of the old java/activex media manager in the older versions of CUC. (The HTML5 tool starting with CUC 11.5 is SO much better.)
Hopefully this helps!

The error attached is a well-known one related to Java, as @Maren Mahoney mentioned. I use the portable version of Firefox, which has the Java plugin installed, for accessing legacy applications and even the CIMC, which heavily depends on Java. You can download the file from this link if you want to give it a try.

And, I am not sure if this is related. By default, unity connection provide play/record the greeting via internal extension phones.
You can also download and upload the recordings from unity to a PC, and it’s not limited to using internal extensions. The tool that @Maren Mahoney mentioned will be useful for your scenario.
