FXO Disconnect Problem again...

Hi All,

I have a common problem with FXO disconnect. The FXO integrated to Pabx. Using router 2801/2811 with IOS version c2800nm-advipservicesk9-mz.150-1.M3.bin. I already tried all of possible configuration in this forum but still not work. FYI, I'm in Indonesia. I already tried to set cadence and frequency with Indonesian standart

Right now my FXO configuration is like this:

voice-port 0/1/2
trunk-group to-PABX
supervisory disconnect dualtone mid-call
supervisory custom-cptone Disconnect
groundstart auto-tip
cptone ID
timeouts call-disconnect 5
timeouts wait-release 5
timing hookflash-out 50
timing sup-disconnect 50
impedance complex2

voice class custom-cptone Disconnect
dualtone disconnect
  frequency 425
  cadence 250 250

Really need an advice about this. Just read fxo disconnect problem document from Cisco but still wont work.

Try:

no groundstart auto-tip

timeouts call-disconnect 1
timeouts wait-release 1

no timing sup-disconnect 50

Otherwsie record the disconnect tone again and post it here.

Hi Paolo,

Thanks for your reply, I'll try your recommendation. If the problem still exist how to record the disconnect tone?

voice-port 0/1/1
trunk-group to-PABX
supervisory disconnect dualtone mid-call
supervisory custom-cptone Disconnect
cptone ID
timeouts call-disconnect 1
timeouts wait-release 1
timing hookflash-out 50
impedance complex2

Many thanks

regards,

Andrew

Hi Paulo,

Thankss for your guidance, finally I recorded the disconnect tone and fix my cadence parameter to this:

voice class custom-cptone Disconnect

dualtone disconnect

  frequency 425

  cadence 350 350

And I found a great link to record the disconnect tone

http://ciscoflair.blogspot.com/2009/05/cisco-fxo-disconnect-issue.html

You don't even need span to port. Just call with IPCP and run capture on the PC. It even works on VPN.

Thanks for the nice rating and good luck!

I had the same problem and thanks to you guys, it was solved! :)

Just in case, I am replying for reference.

I was configuring Cisco 2801 router with IOS c2801-adventerprisek9-mz.124-24.T8.bin and connecting to PSTN. Location is also Indonesia.

Following steps from http://ciscoflair.blogspot.com/2009/05/cisco-fxo-disconnect-issue.html was unsuccessful. When I used Cisco IP Communicator, it works perfectly. RTP packets were successfully recorded and using Cool Edit Pro I managed to gather the disconnect frequency and cadence

Here is my configuration:

!
voice-port 0/0/0
 trunk-group GROUP1
 supervisory disconnect dualtone mid-call
 supervisory custom-cptone Disconnect
 no battery-reversal
 cptone ID
 timeouts call-disconnect 5
 timeouts wait-release 5
 timing hookflash-out 50
 timing guard-out 1000
 connection plar opx 8000
 caller-id enable
!
voice class custom-cptone Disconnect
 dualtone disconnect
  frequency 450
  cadence 350 350
