Being this my profession for some 15 years, I do understand your problem.
What I'm trying to have you understand, is that when the IP phone hangs up, the FXO port MUST hang up as well, so there is something strange. Unless you are talking about a call that as never been answered, Auto Attendant, Transferred fxo to fxo, etc.
For the other question, yes. That is called paging.

Hi again Mr. Paolo, and thanks for your time.
No, am not talking about a call never been answered, however what i did is unplug and plug again the fxo cards from the router, remove unused E1 card that was installed in the router, and scince yesterday i receive no calls. the next step is updating the IOS,.
Yes i know its paging, but instead of listening on ip phones, i wanted via speakers, is it supported? how to connect speakers to CME router? and what type of speaker is you don`t mind.
thanks again Paolo.
regards,

Strange issue occur Mr. Paolo, the voice ports seem to be ok, in on-hook status and incoming calls are fine, the strange issue is outgoing calls can`t be initiated despite the dial-peer are configured. this issue happens to me suddenly before changing any thing. As soon i dial the first digit after dialing 9, i receive a fast busy tone, like below as soon i dial 7 i receive a fast busy tone from an ip phone with no restriction...
!
dial-peer voice 2002 pots
trunkgroup 2
corlist outgoing CDMA
destination-pattern 977.......
forward-digits 9
!
voice-port 0/2/0
trunk-group 2
supervisory disconnect dualtone mid-call
no battery-reversal
cptone SA
timeouts call-disconnect 1
timeouts wait-release 1
connection plar opx immediate 4446
impedance complex2
caller-id enable
!
I restart the router, boot from another ios, remove and configure the dial-peers, shut and unshut the voice port, nothing solve the issue. it seems it doesn`t recognize outside digits,,, local calls are working fine..
Any ideas to solve the issue please...

Based on your symtoms, both FXO and IP Phone call leg might be hung up!
That why I need your "show voice call status" after the call finished and the guy hangs up his ip phone!
07-31-2013 02:32 AM
Yes Mr. Lan,
what i did is unplug and plug again the fxo cards from the router, remove unused E1 card that was installed in the router,
and till now it works fine,,
i`ll update you with new things.
thanks.

Hi,
Could you please put entire Router configure here??
And log of "show dial-peer voice sum"
Based on your information :
The incoming call arrived in port 0/2/1 ( inbound call leg) the it 's routed out port 0/3/3 (outbound call leg)
And according to your info, it stuck at that point ---> this is not relate to IP Phone failure of making call.
I wonder if the incoming call was routed to an IP Phone (or vise versa), how the status would be after the call finished.

Hi,
Try to contact your PSTN administration to chick signaling between your FXO card and them. I think you need to identify in voice ports whither the signaling is loopstart or ground start.
Hope that helps
