Also am using a dedicated one fxo port for a specific user to send and receive calls,, the user always faces busy tone when initiate outgoing call, the fxo port doesnt disconnect from the previous call.
voice-port 0/3/2
supervisory disconnect dualtone mid-call
no battery-reversal
cptone SA
timeouts interdigit 3
timeouts call-disconnect 1
timeouts wait-release 1
connection plar opx immediate 4015
impedance complex2
caller-id enable
Any Idea to solve the issue, please???

Hi Mohammad,
Is it newly implemented??
Can you send me the configuration of your gateway and how many FXO ports you are using???
Have you checked it by doing shut and no shut to the specific FXO port??

Thanks Sinqh and sorry for being late,
yes i tried to do shut and no shut, but later the issue returns again,

Hi Mohammad,
let try:
CIPC (softphone on PC)------CME(FXO)-------PSTN Network
Start wireshark and capturing, then make call from CIPC to PSTN network, let far side (PSTN) hang up first, until CIPC hears 'tut tut'...
Use wireshark to capture the packet from CME to CIPC (filter UDP packet between CME and IPCP).
Then upload .pcap file here, I hope I can support

Are you doing call-forward from one FXO port to another ?
07-29-2013 03:47 AM
No Mr. Paolo,
there are two users whom having dedicated ports for them for dialing and recieving calls as you can see above.

Hi Mohammed
After the near-end user (using IP Phone) hung up the call and before he initiates a new call, please "show voice call status"
Besides, let make a test call (ex: through port 0/3/0) and "debug vpm signal " and "debug vpm port 0/3/0" . After finish the test call, please get back with "show" and "debug" log

Update IOS. When an IP phone hangs up, the voice port must hang up as well.
07-30-2013 02:51 AM
Hi Paolo,
Not the ip phone which hangs up, the fxo port is the one which hangs and shows the yellow color from back of the router on the fxo port....
it is solved temprory when i switch off the router, then unplug and plug the fxo port,,,
If you dont mind, please i want an answer from you with yes or No in another matter,,,,
do the cisco CME support a voice calling solution that can be used to make a voice call thru Mics and external speakers which is is similar to hospital systems where they call thru external speakers for any doctor to attend the operation room???????
