Hello.
After reading the whole document I have several doubts:
The following prerequisites apply to TAPS installation for BAT:
Ensure the Cisco UCCX server is configured
Should I have UCCX server?. I have no this server.
You can activate and deactivate TAPS service by using Cisco Unified Communications Manager
Serviceability after you access it by using the appropriate URL. Use the following procedure to activate
the service.
Procedure
Step 1 Access Cisco Unified Communications Manager Serviceability.
Step 2 Choose Tools > Service Activation.
Shall I activate TAPS service on publisher or in suscriber?. I have already running TAPS service in publisher but no in suscriber.
Step 1 In the Cisco Unified Communications Manager Administration window, choose System > Service
Parameters. The Service Parameter Configuration window displays.
Step 2 From the Server drop-down list, choose the appropriate server.
What server?, publisher or suscriber?
Another doubt:
I have a CUCM cluster with two servers: one publisher and a suscriber one. Where should I enable autoregister?, publisher, suscriber or in the whole cluster?.
The whole phones are in registered in the suscriber.
Thanks in advance.

>>Yes, unless you are installing CUCM 10, a UCCX server is required for TAPS.
Shall I activate TAPS service on publisher or in suscriber?. I have already running TAPS service in publisher but no in suscriber.
>>The TAPS service will only run on the Publisher

Hello
I don't know if I'm understandig well.
I've used TAPS in Cisco Call Manager 4 without UCCX server.
Anybody knows something more about this important change?.
Thanks in advance.

You may have not had a dedicated UCCX server when using CCM 4, but you needed a Cisco IP IVR/IP AA server which I believe could run co-resident on the Publisher.
A lot has changed since CCM 4.

Thank you Adam
That IVR that you said was built on Cisco Unity.
I have Cisco Unity now. Is it a valid solution to configure TAPS?.
How?
Thanks

Unfortunately Cisco Unity will not work as a replacement for UCCX in regards to TAPS. You must have a UCCX server in order to use TAPS.

My colleague and me agree that it sounds very strange, that is compulsory a UCCX server to use TAPS.
However, in the Cisco document that you told me, names UCCX server.
I feel lost.
