How to remove an Inactive LDAP Synchronized User

Hello.

I searched the documentation and I have not found a way to remove imported users by LDAP that are no longer part of the data base. The users still in the list after some months as "Inactive LDAP Synchronized User" and the manual remove don´t work.

The error messenge of CM 10.5 is:

"Error occurred. One or more record did not get deleted. TypeDbErrors.ENDUSER_MODIFICATION_FAILED_SYNC_ENABLED"

Could someone help?

Hello,

Try to convert this user to local and delete.

User information synchronized from the LDAP directory can be converted to local user information so that the user information then can be edited locally on Unified CM

Hi

If an user is not more in LDAP, you can perform a full synch in the configuration of LDAP/CUCM.

The solution abouve works as well (Leonardo Tadeu) : )

Hello again.

Just updating:

i. The workarround sugested by Leonardo Tadeu works well, but it needs a big hands-on work.

ii. Now i have been testing in lab the version 11 of CUCM, released few days ago, and the great news is now we can delete a synched or inactive synched LDAP user without workarround.

Hello, I know this is an old post. How do you delete old users in version 11.5 without stress. I do not understand "..with no workaround"

You can perform a full sync of LDAP on CUCM 11 and above to remove users who are deleted from LDAP directory.

I have done that but they are still showing up in end users as inactive Ldap
