If you want to hold data for longer than 6 months, you need to configure a billing server, CUCM is not a data repository server and won't hold under any circumstance a year worth of CDR data.

I am trying to do the same thing going back a year, but it says there is no data available from before July 1, 2013. Need help!

If it is a phone registered with Callmanager then you can use CDR Analysis and reporting tool and use the Search by extension option.
