Hi,
I have just upgraded to CME 8.6, previously I had CME 7.1 working fine.
I noticed that internal MOH does not work, but MOH works fine with PSTN parties.
I have checked config procedure but nothing I have to change.
any idea about this issue??
regards

Hi
Did you get this issue resolved?
I am having the same issue with CME 8.8 connected to single switch, phones and CME ethernet interface on same subnet/VLAN.
Internal call - A puts B on hold, B get silence.
Not connected to PSTN so I don't know if I will get the same issue with external calls.

When the internal users get put on hold, do they hear the 3 beeps throughout the hold process, or just dead air?

Hi Filiberto,
Is this multicast or unicast MOH? If multicast, did any mulicast settings change on the devices in between? Also, after the upgrade are there any new MOH servers running that weren't running before the upgrade that does not have the MOH audio file uploaded?

This CME, not CM. There are no devices or servers.
Likely, it's just one of the many bugs that Cisco is always able to introduce, but never detect, before releasing new software.

thanks Paolo for your comments.
In fact I just loaded the new IOS and the new files for phones, and then made the changes for en telephony-server module and change on tftp-server flash: commands for the new files.
the MOH file is the same that was working in CF memory.

Hi qsidhu,
Did you set inside telephony-service module the file name an location of music file in addition of multicast option?.
moh flash:music.wav
multicast moh 239.10.16.4 port xxxx ---> this is for moh for internal calls
In my case I guess the problem is that my router does not acomplish minimum requirement of memory DRAM , i just have 256, but I need 512MB.
