Guys,
very quick one I not seen before.
Just upgraded a single phone to SCCP45.9-3-1SR2-1S, before we do a mass upgrade just to check it out.
On the phone http page i see
Version | *SCCP45.9-3-1SR2-1S* |
What does the * indicate
The current default load is
SCCP45.9-3-1SR1-1S, will change once all the phone are upgraded as we have multiple sites

I don't know that it has any special meaning. I noticed the same when I upgraded phones for a customer about a month ago. I upgraded a little over 2000 phones to the same version. I think it is just cosmetic.

thanks for the quick response, we just about to upgrade over 4000 over the coming week so if you done 2000 and they are just fine that should be good for me

Hey Paul/Bill,
My guess would be that it references the Security enhancements with
this firmware version;
Firmware Release 9.3(1)SR2 contains the following security enhancements:
This feature had no user impact.
