Dear All,
Any body can confirm that phone charging is possible with DX series phones. I have checked with DX70 and 80 but got message that this type of USB is disable by administrator.
Any Advise

Hi,
There are limited set of accessories supported with DX series.
Supported accessories include USB serial cable, USB mouse, USB keyboard, USB-powered hub, and USB memory stick
Refer to the link below:

Phone charging is/should be possible using DX70 but not through DX80. Refer below:
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/dx/series/admin/1024/DX00_BK_C12F3FF5_00_cisco-dx-series-ag1024/DX00_BK_C12F3FF5_00_cisco-dx-series-ag1024_chapter_010.html
Also, if you will check the individual data sheets for both the phones then you have below line from DX70 Data sheet but nothing in DX80:
Side-mounted USB port that provides high-current (2A) charging; the two rear-mounted ports each provide 500 mA charging
Link for DX70 Data Sheet:
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/collaboration-endpoints/desktop-collaboration-experience-dx600-series/datasheet-c78-731878.html
Link for DX80 Data Sheet:

Above being said, if charging is not working from DX70 phone as well then check if Side USB Port is set to enabled or not in the below places on CM:
1) Enterprise Phone Configuration
2) Standard Common Phone Profile
3) Phone Page (Highest Priority)

Deepak thanks,
But DX70 is also not working with IPhone. USB is enable as I can connect the mouse, keyboard etc.
Whenever I am connecting IPhone USB, it is showing this class USB has been disabled by administrator.
So I believe this is not supported although its written.

If you have checked the above mentioned settings and it is still not working, then I can possibly think of one reason and that is the IPhone you are trying to charge there needs more than 2A on USB supply and the port is not able to supply that power. Try to charge some other phone and if that also fails, then proceed opening a TAC case and confirm it that way.

Hi Muhammed,
As deepak mentioned, this error pops if your iphone is requesting more power than support on DX USB Port keeping in mind that USB setting enabled.
