Hi,
I´ve an UC520W-8U-4FXO-K9 with CUCME Version 7.0(0) running on it, and there is an issue with the tone that the 524 phones use when entering digits. This only happens with this sequence:
1.- User enter digits for LDI call when phone is On Hook
2.- User then press softkey Dial or User´s phone gets Off Hook
3.- Then 524 phone dials the requested digits, and plays the tone for every digit entered
4.- Then that tone persists until the phone becames On Hook again. If a conversation is stablished, the tone persists.
The only workaround is that users must first Off Hook their phones and then dial.
For other types of calls (internal, local, LDN or cell) the tone stops when the last digit is dialed.
I have changed the access to PSTN, and the issue persists.
There is a way to suppress that tone? I have searched on the config of telephony service and ephone, and found nothing. Here is the config:

Check if you can update the 524 phone firmware.

Hi,
Can't find them on "Download software" of Cisco, on IP Phones section, only appear this options:
And on the Small Business phones there are no firmware for CP 52x, onbly for CP 525G phone that is not the same.
