Hi
We have CUCM 9.1.2 and IM&P 9.1.2
installed Jabber on Windows and mobile devices.
Jabber clients with manual setting is working fine.
But Automatic Jabber for windows login gives "Password incorrect" error.
We have made all the required SRV entries on DNS server and cross verified all the DNS records are perfect.
Jabber for windows version is 10.6.1
Observation:
Some of the PC - Jabber for windows clients automatically login works fine.
But for some PC on the same network gives "Password incorrect" error.
If I manually configure IM&P IP on Jabber, I can login from the same PC. But automatic login is not working on few PC.
All the PCs are part of windows domain. Also I have tried with reinstall Jabber as well, but no luck.
Not able to find the root cause why some PC Jabber automatic login is failing.
Same user can login automatically in other PC. Username password is not the problem.
Here I have attached the wireshark out put and Problem report from the Jabber, where I am facing difficulties in automatically login.
Another observation is, when I reset the Jabber client by File>Reset Cisco Jabber, I suppose to get initial Jabber window like, "username@example.com" and "Continue" button. But for those PC, when I reset Jabber File>Reset Cisco Jabber, I still see Username: and Password: option. it never comes back to initial Jabber window "username@example.com" and "Continue" button. Is it normal? What could be issue?

Hi,
Try to login then navigate to %APPDATA%\Local\Cisco\Unified Communications\Jabber\CSF\Logs
Share jabber.log along with the username.

Problem resolved.
In my case issue was domain name & webex.
Since we are using same domain name for inside and outside.
same domain name is registered with cloud webex...!!!
PC with internet access Jabber client was first trying to login to webex (Cisco's master mind technique). One more messup with Cisco Jabber client....!!!
Cisco developed super technology, without asking user, first it will try to connect MARS and tried to login cloud webex. If not then it will try inside IMP.
Jabber client was trying to login webex and failing.....!!!!
