Hi,
Can you please advise whether we can manage the BE6000M servers via vCenter?
Does it need to have some special licenses to be installed on the BE6000 to be able to be managed by vCenter?
We currently have vSphere 6 Embedded Essentials license installed on the BE6000 and when we try to add the host to vCenter, it says that the current license does not include vCenter agent and we need to upgrade the license.
Exactly what license do we need to procure and from whom (Cisco or VMWare)?

If you want to buy from Cisco, see here

If you want to buy directly from VMWare, you would need to reach them for that matter.

Hi Java,
The license SKU for our BE6000 is VMW-VS6-HYPPLS-K9 which means it is Cisco UC Virtualization Hypervisor Plus.
Can you please let me know whether the Cisco UC Virtualization Hypervisor Plus and VMWare vSphere ESXi are same virtualization softwares? I seem to have some confusion here.
Currently we are using vSphere client to manage the server.
Kindly advise.

Check out this page for what what comes with BE6K and below table what each license entities you to:

You need to purchase Standard, Enterprise or Enterprise Plus license in order to be able to connect the ESXi hosts to vCenter.
