Hi, we're having a strange problem with some of our Cisco 7941 and 7942 phones. To troubleshoot an issue I attempted to manually delete the ITL file (Security --> Trust List --> ITL file) on the affected phones. But there is nothing there, so I can't delete it. When I attempted to factory reset these phones, the phone went into an endless boot cycle, failing to update and displaying a small dot inside a circle on the lower left of the display
Why would the ITL file be missing? I verified the TFTP settings are correct.
The boot cycle indicates we might be missing versions of our firmware on Call manager....any thoughts?
