Modem VG224

Hello 

I have a VG224 that in one of the ports I have a modem, the issue, is that the modem is disconnected every few seconds off connected.

Any ideas?

I think you are missing modem passthrough command it should be like :

voice service voip

modem passthrough nse codec g711ulaw

Cisco vg224 have 24 fxs analog ports, which type of modem did you usde to connect to it !!??

What protocol did you configured your router to work with ??

In the router we have SIP/SCCP and we are using g729r8 and g711ulaw

I had a similar issue a couple of days ago, but on a VG204.

I configured modem pass through,  and turn fax passthrough off, in fax i configured "fax protocol none". but I had the luxury to be able to do that, as it was a dedicated VG04.
