My customer is looking for a statement on CCO that states that if they are using the "MOH source files that ship from Cisco" - that there is no additional licenses to be purchased (like royalty type licenses).
I've searched - but haven't found any statement.
Has anyone seen such a document or statement?
Thanks in advance.

The following link is for an old version of Callmanager, but should still apply.
"As a Cisco CallManager user, you are free to use any of the contents of this CD-ROM with MOH. Due to licensing restrictions, you may not distribute this music to anyone else, nor may you use it for any other purpose."
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/admin/3_1_2/ccmsys/a05moh.html
Hope this helps.

Hey Brandon,
That link does not work anymore.
Does the standard Cisco MOH wav file require us to get a PPL or PRS license in the UK?
Could Cisco document this somewhere?
thanks,
Dinesh.

No, you do not require any licensing for the standard MOH source file that comes with CUCM.

Dinesh -
Check out this thread - I think it applies to you and maybe Gert can send you the doc.

Thanks Les.
I did find a link similar to what Brandon posted earlier:

Would really be great if Cisco would publish something that states the same for the standard MOH source file for all CUCM versions. I understand that Cisco no longer ships the MOH CD (re: https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/2062184).
Dinesh.
