Dear Friends
I wish you are fine ....... I need your help in CUCM ...... I have a customer that have CUCM 6 with 100 IP Phones (some of them 7911 , other 7945 others 7965) ....... He need to implemet CUCM 9 at another new site and he will take some of the IP Phones (20 form 7911; 20 from 7945 & 10 from 7965 ) and need them to work with the new CUCM 9
My question is: Can i move the IP Phone licenses which are already added to CUCM 6 to the new CUCM 9 so that those 50 IP Phones can work with the new CUCM 9 ???
If you have any document from Cisco, Kindly share it
Thanks in advance

You will need to work with licensing@cisco.com, but my understand is that unless this is an upgrade you are not entitled to move licenses between clusters, you would need to purchase the migration license.

Chris

Hi Ahmed,
In addition to what Mr. Chris (+5) has said, you can refer this POST which talks about the migration of IP phones and CUCM version as well.

Refer the PArt code MIG-CUCM-USR-A .
Do consult Cisco SE before quoting solution.
