Multicast MoH in CME-SRST for Remote Branches

Hi All,

I configured CUCM for Multicast MoH and I configured the remote branches to be used as MoH

In Remote branches I added the following configuration:

telephony-service
srst mode auto-provision none
max-ephones 3
max-dn 10 no-reg both
ip source-address 10.30.20.254 port 2000
max-conferences 8 gain -6
moh flash:music-on-hold.au
multicast moh 239.1.1.1 port 16384 route 10.30.20.254
transfer-system full-consult

and it works fine I can hear the music located on router flash.

the problem if the phones registered with the CME as SRST then I can not hear the music.

is it normal?

Do you have ip multicasting enabled on the interfaces? At least on the interface where the [phones are connected to?

No I did not configure any thing under the interface

could you please give me the required configuration

I dont know whether i understood your problem correctly. Are the branch phones registered to the CUCM but you want them to hear MoH from router flash during SRST?

Do you want the router to play MoH from its flash during SRST? If so you should have all those multicast moh commands under the call-manager-fallback mode and not under the telephony-service mode. And just for your info you cannot run both telephony-service and call-manager-fallback on the router at the same time.

And ya..make sure multicasting is enabled as suggested by dijohn.

HTH

Nitesh
