Can CUCM talk multiple MOH audio streams and randomly play them? As an example, I upload MOH1.WAV, MOH2.WAV and MOH3.WAV to the servers and then have it play MOH1, MOH2, MOH3 and then play MOH2, MOH1, MOH3, etc.
THanks in advance,
Doug

No, you choose which MOH is going to be played and that's a fixed value.
You would need to use the MOH USB adaptor to play music from a CD/MP3 player and configure it to be random.

Doug,
Unfortunately not, one stream only gets assigned to the Holding device, i.e. phone or GW or other.

That is what I thought, but was hoping there was a way to do it by loading the files on the server. This would allow for us to change the order randomly so it is not always the same.
Thanks anyway,
Doug

Hi Doug,
I believe that if you use multicast MOH the file plays continuously rather
than starting over at the beginning of the file each time someone is put
on hold. So when different callers are put on hold they are added to the
MOH stream as it plays making it far more "random".
Cheers!
