Hi all,
when receive a fax from a number of a customer my cme cut same digits.
For example when receive fax from 271090935 to 331755511, the CME cut two final digits 11 and route a call to internal 01.
This strange event occurs only on some numbers not all incoming fax.
I attached debug of a trace.
Below are some parts of the configuration:

Hi Marco.
Can you try to modify your T302 value to 5000?

Hi Marco,
You have a number expansion command configured :
num-exp 3317555 01
A num-expansion acts before an outbound dial-peer is matched. I havnt had a look at the debugs yet, but that might be kicking in. Although the CME should do a Digit Analysis for the entire digit dialed, which is :
331755511
I shall go over the debugs and let you know, but as a test, is it possible for you to remove that and try a call?

Jagpreet

Hi Jaqpreet,
in the past i tried to delete "num-exp 3317555 01" but i had other issue...i could not reach any phone number on that site.

Marco,
I understand. I shouldve looked at the debug before replying. Could you also please collect "deb isdn q931" along with "deb voice ccapi inout" and make another test call and share the same?

Jagpreet

Jagpreet,
i collect logs without "num-exp 3317555 01"?
12-06-2013 08:16 AM
No, with it would be just fine. I dont think thats the issue. Right now, in the initial Digit Analysis, CME does not read the "11". If it were the Num-Expansion, that would kick in after this.
I just want to make sure the incoming digits are good from the PSTN.

Jagpreet

Marco,
In the incoming SETUP message from the PSTN, I see the called numbr as :
'3317555'
If we are dialing the correct number, then this is something you should contact the service provider about.

Marco,
Show them the incoming SETUP message from the debug and ask them whats going on.

Marco,
You could try something like this to ensure that you "wait" for the overlap digits before hitting your number expansions.
voice translation-rule 100
rule 1 /^3317555\(..*\)$/ /\1/
!
voice translation-profile INCOMING
translate called 100
!
voice-port 0/0/0:15
translation-profile incoming INCOMING
It might also be possible to expand the voice translation-rule above so you don't need to use the number expansions.

Phil

Hi phershaw,
can i try your suggestion, but i must delete my "translation-rule 101" or can i add it without delete?
@Jagpreet Thanks!
Thanks.
Marco

Hi Marco.
Yes you can add it as rule 2 in your translation-rule 101
