Hi @ all,
Every version the same question for me and my customers. With the new versions of the communications managers (8.x), is it possible to overplug a busy call ? This feature is always used in legacy pbx projects. Can anyone tell me, how can I solve this issue ?
thx

What do you mean overplug a Busy call? could you please elaborate?

What
I mean is:
Someone has an active call. If you want to call him, you become a busy. With a legacy pbx it is possible to put the call on hold and on the line for this destination. So if the destination closes the active call, the waiting call is immediately forwarded to it. This is called overplugging.
thx

There is a feature in CME called "Callback Busy Subscriber".
Is that what you mean? "Overplugging" is a mistaken and/or incorrect term. If you search for it on Google the only related result is your own question in the Cisco forum! http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=Overplugging

Hi,
Like Brandon I have never heard of overplugging but I have heard the feature you describe called "Camp-On" on legacy PBX's.
It is not a standard feature of CUCM 8.x but there is athird party solution that offer support for it.
Radianta Beacon Office offers a feature called Personal Queuing that can do what you need

It also has other features such as paging, call recording and more.
If they are willing to modify the way in which they work then the callback feature included in CUCM may provide the functionality they need at no cost.

Hi,
Thank you for your info. So I see, only with CUCM its is not possible to solve this demand.
thx
