I recently upgraded our 9951 phone firmware to sip9951.9-3-1-33, partially because I wanted the ability to put a pause in my speed dials and this is listed as one of the new features that is available with this version of firmware. Well, I installed it on my CUCM 8.0.3 and nothing! It still doesn't accept commas in the speed dial field. I see in the CUCM 9.0 documentation, this is listed as a feature, but the firmware release notes list that it is compatible with CUCM 7.1(5) and higher. Does anyone know if the speed dial feature should be working on CUCM 8.0.3 with the 9.3(1) firmware or if it requires a CUCM upgrade as well?
Thanks,
Jill

You need to be on CUCM 9.0, it is CUCM feature, not phone firmware feature.

You can use my script "speed dial with pauses" that can be acquired on the website present in my profile. It works with any version of CUCM or phone firmware.
