We have a group of users set up with the Built in Barge, everything works the problem is that when someone initiates a Barge into the shared line, the voice quality seriously degrades. On the phone that does the BARGE we can see the "RCVR Lost Packets" climb like crazy, and this is even between two phones on the same switch.
We tested between Internal -- Internal , Internal --External, Same LAN segment , Differnt LAN Segments.
There are no other reported Voice Quality issues at any of this customers Sites, it only the BARGE.
Any ideas?
Thanks in Advance

Hi Lance,
Are you using Barge, or Cbarge?
When u will luse Barge, the DSP resources of the phone being barged are used, if u r using cbarge, u use resources of a conference bridge.
Also mention the firmware on the phone, do u have other phone models, do they have the same isssue?

We are using the Barge Fetaure, we wanted to try another device but unfortunetly all of their Phones are 7975. I have the feature working in my lab on other set types with no problems.
We are looking at configuration on the ports, and at the Phone loads, so far nothing jumps out.
thx

FIXED !!! We found that since we weren't "Trusting" the device or the DSCP, there was a mls qos Policy limiting the bandwidth to 128 k, therefore since 2 Audio stream were now trying to terminate on the local Phone DSP resources, the policy was chopping off the Audio.
