Dear All,

I have bought a new Avaya IP phone (model 9620L) and I want to register this to CUCM 8.5.1 as a basic third party SIP phone to test.

Request you to help me with sample configuration.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Syed,

I believe your first step should be to figure out if this phone supports Digest Auth or not.

if it doesn't then you need to create a user same as the line assigned to this phone.

Assign the user this phone and make primary extension the line of this phone.

if it does support Digest Auth then you can simply follow the procedure mentioned in this doc.
