Hi all,

My VoIP environment is dued for an upgrade. I am currently running UCCE 7.5.8, CUCM 7.1.3 and Unity Connection 8.0.2 all on physical servers today. On the upcoming upgrade I am looking into virtualize the environment using HP c7000 series blade center with HP SAN in the backend and VMWare of course. I am wondering if anyone's running their environment on other hardware beside Cisco UCS. Any feedbacks/suggestions/experience on this is greatly appreciated.

Thanks all in advance !!

Danny

Have you taken a look at the docwiki about spec based hardware of unified communications?

Hi Gregory,

Thanks for sharing the link !! I was wondering if anyone's running their environment on non-Cisco UCS hardware and could share their experience.

Thanks !!

Danny

Sorry only doing this in lab myself not in production..

Hi

I have gone through the link. Cisco has made it so confusing and vague that it just drives you crazy. Its just another way of saying that "Use Cisco UCS and not Third-Prty Servers"
