Hi,
I have a end customer with a CCX 5.0.X with several scripts, we are thinking to install a Unity Connection 8.X and question are:
1- Is possible open the scripts with a editor version 8.X scrips of version 5.0.X?
2- Is possible use and modify those scripts and adapt it to Unity Connection 8.X?
Thanks and regards!

Hi Ivan
No, Unity Connection and CCX are completely different products.
Unity Connection is primarily a voicemail platform, although it does have some IVR capabilities. It does not however support scripts.
CCX is a more in depth IVR / Customer Contact platform and supports scripting.
You are better off looking at CCX 9.0 if you want to upgrade.

ok thanks!
So the only way to use those scripts is with another CCX, ok!
One more thing, is possible to open those scrips made in CCX 5.X with a Editor CCX 8.X ?
Regards!

Barry is 100% correct, +5.
You can open older scripts with newer version of script editor and they are typically backwards compatible, however version 5 was Windows based and script logic may refer to files on Windows directory vs. script repository which needs to be remidiated.
