Self Provisioning IVR shows Active instead of Inactive
CSCun67427
Description
Symptom:
Self Provisioning IVR shows Active instead of Inactive

Conditions:
In subscriber node, Self provisioning IVR service is not available. It is available only in Publisher node.

Go to CM admin- system- service parameter- select subscriber- Self Provisioning IVR service

There Self Provisioning IVR shows active. It must be Inactive.

Hi Oscar,

You are correct.

After I shared the bug, I called up one of my colleagues who  has got CUCM cluster 10.5.1.10000-7  with Pub and Sub  to find the resolution as per bug but could not find "Self provisioning IVR " under Subscriber.

I suggest opening TAC case and share the resolution.

thanks for  ratings.

Have you selected that ctl route point under IVR settings of self provisioning (user management -> self-provisioning) ?

Suresh

Yes I did it a couple of times. also I re-restarted manually the service on publisher. but still not registered. check picture atached. Usually CTI Route point is registered from outside component like Unity Connection, CCx, etc. on this self provisioninng whom do this?.

FYI. We have implemented "publisher server" (this have service self provisioning enabled, and with "start" status) and "cti server" (all my cti route point are registered on this server.).

check for the Role and permissions under UserId [user_selfprov] which u have cerated.

Standard CCM End User

Standard CTI Allow Control of All Devices

Standard CTI Enabled

as far as i understand only Standard CTI Enabled is required. any way i add it the others. but still not registering. Usually CTI Route point is registered from outside component like Unity Connection, CCx, etc. on this self provisioninng whom do this?.

Self provisioning application do take care of it itself.

Suresh

Can u reset the CTI route point ?

also, check for Self provisioning IVR service under serviceability?

regds,

aman

I've reset the CTI Route point but still not registering status. I also restart the Self provisioning IVR service (this the 3rd time i did it). Be aware "Self provisioning IVR service" is not in same virtual server than CTI server.

FYI. We have implemented "publisher server" (this have service self provisioning enabled, and with "start" status, is mean up) and "cti server" (all my cti route point are currenlty registered on this server and up).

this means u have two servers: one which has Self -provisioning enabled and CTI Manager: Not running while the second server has Self-Provisioning as "Not running" but CTI Manager "Running".

can try activating  "Self -provisioning " on server which has CTI route points already registered?

regds,

aman

Yes you right, I have two virtual machines (on reality we have Two TFTP servers, two CTI Managers, Two Call Managers, One Publisher).

On  machine "CTI Manager server" dosen't exist "Self -provisioning " service. check picture. only exist on publisher.

Surprisingly,"Self provisioning IVR " is not appearing under CTI services.

Is it appearing under  other services in cluster?

regds,

aman

can u check by running command "utils service list " from putty  as attached.

Our Cluster version is. System version: 10.5.2.13900-12.

"Self provisioning IVR " dosent exist in any location into subscriber.

CSCun67427 said exactly what i have. but i canot find : "Go to CM admin- system- service parameter- select subscriber- Self Provisioning IVR service". i've check it on publisher also but with same result, not find "Self Provisioning IVR service" into service parameter. So there isnt work around to solve this bug?.

So just for understand. "Cisco CTI manager" service and "Self provisioning IVR" service must be enabled/started on same virtual machine?.
