There are a number of configuration steps, so it would probably be best for you to read that chapter. Essentially you create mappings of IP subnets to device pools in a round-about way, and if a device moves they inherit settings from a device pool that is linked to their new IP subnet rather than from teh device pool they are actually configured in.
