Hi all. We have a CME running on a 2951 with Version 15.3(3)M4. We have a few 8831 phones registered using SIP that are unable to make calls. Here's what we have for the phone config:
voice register pool-type 8831
description Cisco SIP Phone 8831.
reference-pooltype 6921
!
voice register global
mode cme
source-address 10.64.150.2 port 5060
max-dn 10
max-pool 10
load 8831 sip8831.9-3-3-5.loads
authenticate realm cisco.com
create profile sync 0408409877153759
voice register dn 3
number 10202
allow watch
name Conference Room 3
shared-line
label The Ballroom
lpcor type local
busy-trigger-per-button 1
id mac AC44.F211.AC07
type 8831
number 1 dn 3
dtmf-relay sip-kpml
codec g711ulaw
And here's what I see when I dial another five digit internal number, for example 10015. I'm dialing en-bloc:
Calling Number=sip:10202@10.64.150.2,(Calling Name=)(TON=Unknown, NPI=Unknown, Screening=User, Passed, Presentation=Allowed),
Called Number=sip:1@10.64.150.2;user=phone(TON=Unknown, NPI=Unknown)
Any idea why it's only sending one digit?
Thanks

Recently I came across the same issue with a 29xx on 15.4(3)M1 and 78xx phones.
Solution was to add a dialplan. From what I recall, alternatively, a Dialplan .xml file can be made available on the TFTP Server that is then requested from the phones (check the CME Admin Guide for details)

old thread however I combed through here trying to solve this problem so I am updating with a solution:
View thread above. no digit collect kpml does the trick however very important after making any change to SIP voice register pool X go to voice register global and do no create profile and create profile which is similar to create cnf files under telephony-service. After this is done the SIP config files will be recreated and then you reset the phone under the voice register pool 1 or otherwise so that it will reregister and pickup the changes.
