SIP Phones with CME

Hi,

Just needed an information, while registering the Phones as SIP Phone, does the SCCP phones gets automatically converted to SIP or we need to upgrade the SCCP to SIP and then register the phone?

I think if you loads command and config file per phone, it will download automatically.

as well as putting the type command in you will also need the 'upgrade' command under 'voice register global' in order to create the OS79XX file in flash.

This is used to upgrade the firmware.
