I have to change a subnet mask on CUCM and CUC servers. They are version 9.1 on VM. My question is, will I have to apply to have the license re-hosted after the mask change?
Many thanks in anticipation.

Hi ,
you need to rehost the license when u are moving to different physical server or virtual server.
you can refer the DOC which says "Licenses in 9.X are now tied to the ELM server's UUID instead of the publisher's license MAC address"

Hello -
Since you are running version 9.1, I would assume you using ELM/PLM for your licensing? Is the licensing server co-res with CUCM or standalone? If its co-res I would think that it would affect the licensing MAC whereas if it is standalone then there shouldn't be any affect.
Thanks
Tony

Hi Tony,
yes the ELM is co-res with the CUCM Pub. Does this mean I or the customer would need to apply to have the license re-hosted after I change the mask? If so, how many days grace will we get?
Many thanks.
