Hi,
We have just sold a customer a Business Edition 6000 solution using version 9.x products.
The customer wants:
CUCM with LDAP integration
Unity Connection with Unified Messaging
IM & Presence with Jabber for Windows and Jabber for iPhone clients
So far so simple - the problem is with their Active Directory and Exchange setup.
The company was acquired by a larger organisation which now provides some IT services.
Users log in to the network using an AD setup that existed before the company was acquired. The users Exchange 2013 mailboxes are provided by the larger organisation and users have to log in to it using a different set of credentials - i.e. different user names and passwords.
There is a long term plan to set up a trust between the two AD setups but this is some way in the future.
The company has full control of their local AD setup but have to request user setups, changes etc. for the other AD which is used for Exchange.
My question is what is the best option for integrating CUCM, Unity and Jabber with this?

CUCM integrate with the AD which they use to login onto the network.
The CUC can integrade with the Exchange on the other system as this has nothing to do with the AD for the phones, yes you import the users from CUCM that synched with AD but the VM delivering VM to outlook can run from a different exchange server.

LDAP and Exchange integrations are separate so I don't see an issue here.
