Hi All,
I am trying to import an audio WAV file for a particular mailbox through play/Record >>Option>> Open File. It is runnning fine when i play using Use computer on unity connection page but when i am trying end user number and call get forwarded to voice mail it does not play the wav file which has been imported.
Please assit.

If you continue to have issue with built in java player, try Audiotext Manager for Connection. This is much better tool for CUCX and it's free.

In CUCX, If you go to the user in question , EDIT>Greetings does it say "recording" at the standard greeting? In other words is there an indication that the WAV file you uploaded has been marked as recorded?

Hi Dennis,
Thanks for you response.
I followed the process mentioed above but its giving error when i am trying to save the greeting.
Its showing as Failed to Record name.
Please suggest

Check your Java version is compatible, like in this doc:
If that's not your version, you can find the similar doc for other versions in the main CUC documentation page, or searching cisco.com

It's like Jaime says, related to Java version, work around is to record the name first and then upload the wav file to the greeting. In general I found firefox works best with the recording applet.
