Unity Connection Voice Mail Free Ports

Hello Guys,

In SCCP Integration of CUCM and Unity Connection how many Voice Mail Ports are free ?

If we want to purchase additional voice mail ports then what is the part code for same.

Unity connection version is -10.X

1) There is no part code for voicemail ports. You can configure maximum 250 Per server 

2) Refer Below details

In this configuration, both servers can support up to 250 voice messaging ports each for a cumulative total of 500 voice messaging ports when both servers are active. If only one server is active, the port capacity is lowered to a maximum of 250 ports.

3) The Number Of Configured Port Limit Depends on the VM COnfiguration. Refer Below Link.

So Check the Current VM Configuration. If you need to Increase Number of Ports then you have to Take Full Backup of CUC via Disaster Recover and rebuilt it with New VM Specification and restore the Ports.

4) Also if you have Active-Passive Mode you can change to Active-Active mode to double the Ports.

+5 to Haris for correct answer, in addition if you have 2 Unity servers consider the bandwidth if your Unity servers are split across WAN as each 50 ports require 7 Mbps of dedicated bandwidth, so if you provision 250 ports on each server that is 35 Mbps.
