Unmapped Exception Null when changing BLF Speed Dial

Victor Circelli

Hello,

We have a CUCM 8.5 running for more than 1 year withtout major issues.

In the last month, the following error occured two times.

When saving changed made on BLF Speed Dial (7900 phones with expansion modules, so, a lot of Speed Dial), it shows an error message that tells "Unmapped Exception Null", and all the Speed Dial configurations (that already exisists) are lost.

Made some research and found this document, that tells the browser version.

It states that IE 6 is supported (we're using IE6).

Did you saw this before?

Regards

Hi Victor,

It could be this bug perhaps;

CSCtn65309 - BLF Speed Dial Unmapped Exception

Symptom:

Unmapped Exception Null received when editing/saving BLF Speed Dials.

Conditions:

Select any devices BLF Speed Dial extension on the phone configuration page.  Then highlight an

extension, right click with the mouse to Cut it, then right click to paste it into a different field

when being saved we get a "Unmapped Exception null"

Workaround:

Use Control-X and Control-V

Further Problem Description:

All versions of CUCM are affected. I personally tested 6.1.4, 7.1.3, 8.0.3, 8.5.1
