Hello All
User only can answer an incoming call with Speaker. The handle will work after 2-3 minutes if the handle is pick up same time. The firmware version is sccp41.9-4-2-1S. There are three Cisco 7941 have same problem. Do you think that it is hardware problem ? Is it can be fixed ?

Try swapping the phones with any other known working phones and see if the issue follows the phone or the port. If the phones worked fine earlier then you may try downgrading the firmware. A factory reset on one of the phones can also be done to see if it helps.

Do you mean the handset???
I'd probably look into HW issues in first place, those phones are quite old and you might have problems with the hook-switch or the cables.

Hi there,
Just to add a reference to the great tips from Manish and Java (+5). This is almost 100% likely to be a problem with the Hookswitch mechanism on the 7941's. We replaced or repaired literally 100's of the 7941/61's due to this exact issue. There are very cheap replacement parts (US 1$) that you can purchase to replace the faulty Hookswitch pieces as shown in the old thread below as well as a pretty good "how - to";
