Hello,
We have a VG-310 analog box that feeds some aux devices in our tree. Was wondering the best way to block one (not all) analog line from receiving any calls from outside our network. The line needs access from all phone extensions internally (which is already working) but needs to block any calls from the outside.
Thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply. We are using CUCM for call routing. My question would be how to do this just for one line. If I'm not mistaken, the "!" translation is global? Or I could be mistaken. I would like to block all incoming phone calls externally rather than just one number, and not on a global scale. Is it possible to make a translation like this? The link seems to show on a large scale.
Thanks again

Hi,
Does the DDI number land on a different / upstream gateway prior to CUCM and then the VG310? I imagine it does.
If your upstream gateway is a SIP / ISDN circuit and the integration with CUCM is SIP or H.323 you can configure voice translation rules to block the incoming number at gateway level.
Here is an example on how to do that. Does that help?
