so guys I have a scenario that when incoming calls come from PSTN to my Gateway they must be manipulated.
1) 41585290 ----> 860
2) 41585000 ----> 290
3) 41585... ------> ...
as u know i can do these digit manipulations with voice translation rules and with num-exp but i wanna know which one is better and more efficient as router resource aspect.
Voice translation rules:
voice translation-rule 3
rule 1 /^41585290$/ /860/
rule 2 /^41585000$/ /290/
rule 3 /^41585\(...$\) /\1/
num-exp :
num-exp: 41585290 860
num-exp: 41585000 290
num-exp : 41585... ...

Num-exp is a old, outdated functionality. You’re better of to use voice translation rules.
