Hi
We have a CUCME connected to the ITSP via a SIP trunk. Some incoming calls fail with cause code 172. In the debugs I could see this just before the SIP BYE message:
%VOICE_IEC-3-GW: VTSP: Internal Error (DSP unknown failure): IEC=1.1.182.9.22.10
#show voice iec description 1.1.182.9.22.10
IEC Version: 1
Entity: 1 (Gateway)
Category: 182 (Hardware Resources Unavailable)
Subsystem: 9 (VTSP)
Error: 22 (DSP unknown failure)
Diagnostic Code: 10
The call-leg on the SIP trunk is always alaw, internally between CUCME and CUE or the phones is always ulaw. We have a transcoder active.
What debugs can I run to check if this is a DSP allocation error, or if there is a hardware issue, or... ?
Thanks!

You can use
show voice dsp group all..
This will show if you hava had dsp allocation failure
